About This Research

This is an essay detailing the story of Voices from Our America, which is an “international public scholarship project. The explication includes the project’s goals and history, as well as an examination of the project’s content and circulation of interviews, which have been conducted in Panama. The project intends to bring awareness to an otherwise ignored specific set of stories and experiences. VFOA has created a website and digital library comprised of a collection of videos and photographs of interviews with Panamanian individuals of West Indian descent.
